At Lake Sawyer, we are for everyone. It’s not just something we say, it’s something we do.
We are so thankful for our volunteers that put their compassion to work every week at Lake Sawyer and at local organizations. But on one day this year, we’re asking everybody to jump in to be a part of our All Church Serve.
Everyone can participate – small groups, friends, and families of all ages.

together for
our community
Saturday, August 17th | 9a to 1p
For You is our annual All Church Serve, where we come together for our community, sharing the love of Jesus through simple, but intentional acts of kindness. A random act of kindness is a practical, effective, and fun way to let someone know they matter, and are loved by God. Small things done with great love can change the world. Together we can make a difference.
"God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another... Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ."

Frequently Asked Questions
What is For You (All Church Serve)?
All Church Serve is an exciting opportunity for us, the local church, to go into our community and love our neighbors. This summer, come be a part of serving our community and sharing the love of Jesus through simple, practical acts of kindness.
How do All Church Serve projects work?
Check-in at the church begins at 8:30am. This will allow everyone time to change into our team shirts, and receive assignments and instructions. We will head out at 9am in teams to local schools and perform a variety of service and kindness projects providing free car washes, weeding, picking up trash, and engaging with families - letting people know they matter to us. There will be projects for everyone.
What should I bring to All Church Serve?
We will provide you with a T-Shirt, and a yummy lunch afterwards! Bring any personal items you may need to use on your project: sunscreen, drinking water, appropriate shoes, etc. We will let you know in advance any special items you will need: gloves, rakes, tools, etc. But most importantly, come with a smile!
Can my child serve?
Absolutely! We would love for you to serve with your whole family. We will have projects to accommodate everyone. We do require a parent or guardian to be with children 13 and younger at all times.
What happens if it rains?
If the forecast shows heavy rain, we will notify you in advance and give further instruction. Otherwise, we ask you still arrive to the church as scheduled.
Who can I contact with questions or concerns?
If you have questions or concerns, you may contact Jennifer Lawless.
