Rocky had to get his edge back. The band Survivor called it the Eye of the Tiger. Paul told the church in Galatia: “You were running a good race. Who cut in on you?” (Galatians 5).


This message is about more than a hype song from the 80s. It’s about the fire that once burned inside of you—the passion you had for Jesus when you first believed—and the reminder to not trade that passion for fleeting glory.


Life will throw distractions. Voices will try to pull you off track. But Paul reminds us: Don’t stop for nothing. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
