At Lake Sawyer we want Sunday to be the best day of the week for everyone, especially children! We have a special place for your child Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m.
Our Children’s Ministry provides a safe, spiritual and fun environment where God’s Word comes to life through innovative lessons and more. Your child will laugh, learn, play, explore, grow, feel loved, and won’t want to leave.
If you are joining us online, each weekend we have a new video Bible story designed just for your child. You can learn the memory verse with them, and sing and dance along to the song of the month.
With each lesson we include a Parent Cue which makes it easy to talk to your child about what they learned. The parent cue has fun, real-life activities to do with your kiddos, and best of all some great parenting advice to help you succeed.
Volunteer with Lake Sawyer Kids and help with services, prepare fun content to teach kids about Jesus, supply materials, lead a small group, welcome families, or host events! There are so many different ways to serve!
To get started, fill out the Lake Sawyer Kids volunteer application, and our team will be in touch!
Preteen First Friday – 4th and 5th graders come hang out the first Friday of the month from 7-9 pm at The Cave (Mod2B) for games, friendly competition, laughs and fun! You don’t want to miss it!
We want to encourage all of our families to download the FREE mobile app Parent Cue from their Apple Store or Android Marketplace. This app allows adults to access incredible resources such as videos, blog posts, podcasts, and activities that help you engage with your kids at home during the week after Sunday’s lesson.
Interactive Bible storytelling and games can be an excellent way to get your child engaged with God’s word! We highly recommend the FREE app The Bible App For Kids. You can also visit BibleAppForKids.com where you can find additional resources for adults to help you engage with your child through these stories.
We know that sometimes it can be difficult and challenging to navigate conversations about salvation and what that means for them as kids, so we have provided an excellent parent conversation guide from Parent Cue that will help walk you through that life-changing conversation. In addition, if you find yourself having more questions and would like some additional resources or help navigating that step with your child, please feel free to contact our Children's Ministries Director, Megan Ross at firstname.lastname@example.org and our team will contact you and answer any of your questions.
We’d love to connect with you! Please feel free to reach out to any of us on the Kids Team here at Lake Sawyer Church.
