Vision Night

Thursday, September 15th  7p - 8p

How are we doing at helping people find and follow Jesus? What new opportunities do we have in this coming season?

We’ll be talking about all of that—and more—at this year’s Vision Night. Vision Night allows us to take a moment and reflect on this past year, praise God for the work He’s done, pray for the work He continues to do, and hear about our specific vision for this new season. Join us!

Sunday, September 11th

If you are newer to Lake Sawyer we want to invite you to NEXT - a fun and informational lunch gathering where you'll learn more about the mission, vision, and values of Lake Sawyer Church and how you can join in with what God is doing in this church community. At NEXT you will gather with others who are on a similar journey as you and hear from our Lead Pastor, Mike Ferrulli and other staff members about the different ways you can get connected.

Sunday, September 25th

Starting September 25th, we are hosting Rooted for all ages! Kindergarteners through Adults, join Rooted and see the power of God at work as we gather together in community. This 10-week discipleship experience is a catalyst for life-change. Rooted fosters growth, develops spiritual rhythms, encourages conversations in community, and offers group experiences designed to give you a glimpse of your story within God's story.

What's New in Lake Sawyer Kids

Level Up Day for Incoming Kindergarteners

Kids Small Groups

Sunday, September 4th

Sunday, September 11th

Watching our kids move up to kindergarten is such a bittersweet event. We are excited for this new milestone in our children's lives and at the same time we realize our babies are growing up!  We kept them in preschool as long as we could, but it's time for them to level up!  All preschoolers who are going into kindergarten in the fall will be leveling up to their new grade level and class on Sunday, September 4th!
Lake Sawyer Kids is launching small groups beginning Sunday, September 11th!  Children will participate in age-specific lessons activities with the same group of kids each week. This consistency helps children develop deep, life-long relationships with their friends and leaders.

Monday, September 12th

If your children are in Kindergarten or younger (that includes expecting mommas too) MOPS is for YOU! MOPS meets twice per month on Monday evenings @ 6:30p where women connect, hear practical and helpful teaching, engage in table discussions and fun activities, and foster friendships based on the commonalities of this stage of motherhood. If this is you, there is a seat at the table waiting for you!
Cost is $125 ($32 deposit required at sign up - balance due on 9/1/22)

Students Fall Launch

Wednesday, September 14th

With the new school year comes a new year for Lake Sawyer Students! September 14th is our Fall Launch as we restart our Wednesday night student gatherings after a great summer and a few weeks off. For the month of September we are kicking off the school year with “Squad Wars. ” Students will compete in their squads in super fun games and competitions, and we’ll talk about how God designed us for community and friendship.

Squads are intentional communities of students and volunteer leaders. We want every student to have a group of students and an adult to connect with on a deeper level. Squads are broken out by age and gender. Every 2nd Wednesday of the month will be Squad Wednesday, where students will get time to connect specifically with their squads. See you on the 14th!
