COVID-19 Updates
READ ABOUT COVID-19 INFORMATION

March 27, 2020

In compliance with Gov. Inslee’s “Stay Home – Stay Healthy” initiative, the church office is now closed for at least the next two weeks. Additionally, our Sunday morning services will continue to be held online through April.

March 16, 2020

We hope that you were able to join us this past Sunday at Lake Sawyer Online. If you missed it, the content is still available HERE (hyperlink). At Lake Sawyer Online you will find a timely message from Mike, as well as great content for your kids and students.

With the county, state, and nation-wide restrictions and recommendations evolving on a sometimes-hourly basis, our elders have determined that Sunday morning services will remain online rather than in-person through the end of March. Our staff continues to collaborate on creative ways to bring church to you over the coming weeks.

Additionally, the Lake Sawyer Church campus is now closed for ALL activities of any size, including both ministry-related or otherwise. Our church office will remain open, operating as normal. Our business hours are Mon-Thurs from 9am-4pm.

As you know, this is a rapidly-evolving situation and we will continue to do our best to update you with any changes in a timely manner. Please continue to follow all state and government guidelines, and check in with your friends, family, and neighbors – especially those who are elderly or with compromised health. Although we are not meeting face-to-face, we have a unique opportunity to be the church right where we are.

March 13, 2020

We believe God wants to do something powerful through this time of uncertainty. That’s why the Lake Sawyer staff continues to work hard to pivot from our regular in-person Sunday service, and create an experience that enables us to bring church to YOU.

We encourage everyone who is feeling well to gather in your homes THIS Sunday – whether as a family or with your neighbors – and take part in Lake Sawyer Online. You can expect to hear a message from Mike, sing songs with our worship team, have an opportunity to take communion, and participate in offering. We’re also preparing special content for kids and students as well!

To be part of Lake Sawyer Online this Sunday, simply head to the church homepage anytime Sunday morning where you’ll be automatically re-directed to our Lake Sawyer Online webpage. If you have a smart TV, you can cast the webpage to your TV using your mobile device. Find helpful info about casting HERE.

If you would like to take communion or receive prayer on campus, we will have staff available on Sunday from 9-11:30am.

Be sure you’re following us on Facebook and Instagram so you can stay up-to-date on any changes and responses from our leadership in the coming days and weeks.

In the midst of the chaos, we are praying and seeking the ways God is wanting us to respond as a church when it comes to continuing to serve and care for our surrounding community. Please join us in prayer for everyone affected. As you know, this is a situation that remains fluid and we will continue to prioritize the health and well-being of our community while also providing ways for you to engage and grow in your faith.

March 11, 2020

Lake Sawyer,

Our staff and elders wanted to reach out regarding the latest updates surrounding COVID-19 in our area. As I’m sure many of you are aware, our State Governor has announced a new mandatory restriction for public gatherings over 250 people that is spread across King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. If you are unaware of this news or need more clarification, we encourage you to watch Gov. Inslee’s press conference HERE.

In efforts to comply with these mandatory restrictions, we are shifting our in-person services to an online experience beginning this Sunday, March 15th – including all kids, middle school, and high school programming. In the meantime, we know God is in control and we continue to lean on him through this season. Please join us today in praying for all those currently effected by these circumstances as well as our state and local leadership.  We’re already hard at work preparing an incredible worship experience for you to engage with at home this weekend. Stay tuned as we will be communicating those plans in the coming days.

Thank You,

Lake Sawyer Staff
